About Cecilia Lion

Cecilia Lion is an American pornographic actress, webcam model, and content creator. She began performing online in 2015 and moved into studio work in 2016–2017, appearing for companies including Twistys, Mofos, Reality Kings, Brazzers, Bang Bros, Jules Jordan Video, and Vixen Media Group. She was Twistys Treat of the Month in April 2016 and Cherry Pimps’ Cherry of the Month in August 2020, and in 2021 shared an AVN Award for Mainstream Venture of the Year.

Lion was born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She has also lived in Florida and Mississippi. Before adult work she held short-term service jobs, including hostess positions at the Cheesecake Factory, Hooters, and Mellow Mushroom, and a customer-retention role at CenturyLink. She has described the Mellow Mushroom job, near the Arizona State University campus, as the one that fit her best aside from her later career. In 2015, coworkers at Mellow Mushroom and talk of Chaturbate earnings led her to a cam studio in Tempe, Arizona, about a mile from her workplace. She started camming in August 2015 and later took a break before returning to professional shoots. Her stage name came from the Tempe studio owner, who said her hair looked like a lion’s mane. That was in late summer 2015, soon after the killing of Cecil the lion in Zimbabwe. Lion has said the name was “almost a tribute.”

Lion's first credited studio work was solo scenes for Twistys in April 2016, including Blushing Rose, Sugar and Spice, and Poolside Lioness. She was that month’s Twistys Treat. Hardcore boy/girl work followed in 2017, with early scenes for Mofos and Reality Kings, some opposite Brick Danger. By August 2020 she told AVN she had shot about 100 scenes since 2017, for Reality Kings, Vixen Media Group, Deeper, Bang Bros, Jules Jordan Video, Brazzers, and Girlfriends Films, among others. The Internet Adult Film Database lists her as active from 2016 to 2023 and records credits across gonzo, vignette, girl/girl, interracial, and later anal titles, including work for Blacked Raw, Evil Angel, and Tushy. She has also worked as a webcam performer and independent content creator, including on OnlyFans. In a 2020 interview she said she did not see herself as a celebrity and preferred not to use the title “porn star” until she had awards for her scenes, describing herself as “a really chill little internet girl.”

Lion is of African and French descent.
